Jessica & Darren: The Best of Oregon

Jessica and Darren wanted to showcase the best of what they cherish about their home state: the rustic beauty of natural spaces and a sophisticated urban nightlife. With this in mind, a ceremony location was prepared on Sauvie Island and the reception planned at the Portland Art Museum's Sunken Ballroom. The couple married under tall pine branches in an intimate fir grove, afterward receiving guests and enjoying champagne, fruit, and bursts of afternoon sun. Guests then caravanned into the city to celebrate to the tune of a lively ten-piece jazz band and savor an elegantly served meal. This event truly depicted balance created through the accentuation and celebration of the best the Northwest has to offer.
